Ghost in the Shell (1995) Jacket Redesign
This piece was born from my desire to learn Marvelous Designer and for my first work, I decided to try my hand at designing a bomber jacket. For this project, I redesigned Major Motoko Kusaragi's jacket from the anime movie Ghost in the Shell (1995). In terms of design, I kept the yellow colour and overall baggy feel with side pockets, but added a few personal touches such as the lotus flower decal on the back and the little triangles throughout the garment, the little tag on the sleeve pocket says "ghost". I liked the end result so much that this became part of a bigger project and now it will culminate in the full-bodied character of Motoko in the near future.
I would like to give a shout-out to Travis Davids for the wonderful cyberpunk bomber jacket, it was an invaluable source of knowledge.
